She has worked as a radio host, media figure, actor, and TV judge in her native South Africa. Penny was a judge for South African Idols Season 1 and also worked at Metro FM. People may also recognize her as the host of SABC 2’s reality discussion show Motswako. Penny has been a part of the entertainment world for decades, and we’ve seen glimpses of her personal life, including her relationships and her experiences as a mother, all along the way.
She has two gorgeous children with her Zimbabwean ex-boyfriend, Ali Naka. She and the Zimbabwean businessman she had been seeing split up in 2008. She revealed that the breakup had caused her a great deal of pain, including melancholy. But the media star looked on the bright side of things and continued on with her life. Lebyane once took Ali Naka to court because he refused to sign their son’s travel documents, making it impossible for him to join her in Swaziland.
Penny’s kids have grown up and are now seniors in high school, which has made her quite pleased. She often posts images of them to Instagram.
