‘Me and my dad are presidents’: Jacob Zuma’s son tells his mother LaConco

Sakhumuzi Zuma, the son of media personality Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco and former president Jacob Zuma, recently celebrated his sixth birthday which he shares with his 82-year-old father.

LACONCO AND JACOB ZUMA’S SOM SAYS HE IS A PRESIDENT

In a voice note shared by his mother on Instagram, the little boy can be heard referring to himself and his father as presidents.

“Sakha, if it’s your birthday then it’s my birthday,” LaConco told him. To which Sakha responded saying, “It’s the president’s [birthday].”

Amused by her son’s response the Forever Thina host asked, “What does it mean if it’s your birthday… it means only presidents. Who’s the president?”

“Me and my dad,” her son replied.

When a curious LaConco asked him who told him that, Sakha replied that his father told him so. The six-year-old innocently told his mother that’s he, too, can become a president, all she needs to do is ask his dad.

Sharing images of her son’s Spiderman-themed birthday party, LaConco revealed that the little boy planned his special day.

“Sakha has planned his 6th birthday lunch. From the theme how he wants his cake, his guests, the seating arrangement, and what they will eat,” she wrote.

The former Real Housewives of Durban reality TV star also thanked her son’s older siblings and his father for making his day special.

“To his older sisters and bab’wabo (their father) who made his day special Ngiyabonga (thank you) bo Zuma.”

ZUMA IS OFFICIALLY THE MK PARTY PRESIDENT
In December last year, Sakha’s father officially declared his support for newly-formed political organisation, Umkhonto Wesizwe Party (MK Party). This week, the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) confirmed that Zuma’s face will appear alongside MK Party on the ballot paper. The Independent IEC said the MK Party notified it about changing its leader from Jabulani Khumalo to Zuma.

STILL TOGETHER OR READY TO MINGLE?

LaConco announced a couple of years ago that she and Zuma had broken off their engagement. However, many on social media believe that they are still in a relationship. This is fuelled by the fact that she wears her engagement ring from time to time and also religiously pays tribute to Zuma on his birthday.

While LaConco’s relationship is unclear, in December last year, the Our Perfect Wedding (OPW) host told Isolezwe that she hopes to meet her “Mr Right” soon.
