Kaizer Chiefs fan Bonang on burning question

It’s been a few days since Kaizer Chiefs announced the appointment of their new head coach Molefi Ntseki. But fans – like media personality Bonang Matheba – are still struggling to digest the news.

Amakhosi’s decision was met with criticism from the public who expected fan favourite Nasreddine Nabi being expected to take over the reins.

After teasing the news all week, the popular soccer team shared their “breaking” news on Twitter.

The official account posted: “Kaizer Chiefs are pleased to formally announce the appointment of Molefi Ntseki as the new Head Coach of the first team, effective immediately.”

Citing his tenure as a former Bafana Bafana coach, football fans are not convinced he will do a good job. On Twitter, fans quickly expressed their disaproval, including media mogul Bonang.

Resonding directly to the announcement, Bonang tweeted: “Bathong”.A day later, she seemingly shaded Cheifs decision. She posted, possibly referring to Nabi: “Give the people what they want!”.

She added: “Chiefs? They want us dead, shem”.After her rant about her favourite football team, Bonang’s followers propositioned her to join their opposition – Orlando Pirates.

But while she has much criticism for Kaizer Chiefs, the star is not prepared to dump them anytime soon.

“Amakhosi for life”, she responded to a tweep.
