Hamba Juba’ hitmaker Lady Amar bags two nominations at BIMA

Award-winning DJ Lady Amar, whose real name is Thando Duma, has expressed great excitement after being nominated for two awards at the 2023 Basadi in Music Awards (BIMA).At just 30, the talented DJ has already established herself in the music industry. Her hit song ‘Hamba Juba’ has earned her a nomination in the Song of the Year category. She is also contending for the DJ of the Year title against Uncle Waffles, Pru Luv, Ms Cosmo, and Lamiez Holworthy.

HER NEW SINGLE ‘HAMBA JUBA’
Her smash hit track “Hamba Juba”, which is also nominated in the Song of the Year category, continues to top the music charts nationwide. The track that features Jackson Motla (JL SA0, award-winning musician Cici (Busisiwe Thwala), as well as Emmanuel Mathye and Khathutshelo Mangolo, known as Murumba Pitch, has been a fan-favourite since its debut.
