It looks like Thabo Bester saga will always have a moments where people just wonder what it is that is happening. Thabo Bester just got issued with a new ID and now it means that there is no longer doubts about who Thabo Bester is. But we know that Thabo Bester did not make an application for an ID. The department of home affairs just took the initiative and made one for him.

 

But now Dr Nandipha is also claiming that her arrest was unlawful in Tanzania. She now wants to be released from custody. But the urgent application by Dr Nandipha to declare her arrest unlawful will test the rule of law in the country. But there are some of the people who are saying that Dr Nandipha does not stand a chance but there are those who are saying that her arrest was unlawful.

But we know that in Tanzania Dr Nandipha and his boyfriend Thabo Bester were arrested for being in the country illegally and then the South African delegates where sent to Tanzania so that they can be able to get the two back into the country. But we know that Dr Nandipha was brought back into the country by home affairs.They had to get home affairs involved in this because it was a matter of deportation. The two were only arrested by South African police once they landed in Lanseria Airport. We know that a warrant of arrest was already issued out for Dr Nandipha. But saying the arrest in Tanzania was unlawful then it means that she will have to fight that in Tanzania and not in South Africa. In Tanzania she was arrested for being in that country illegally and in South Africa she has been arrested for multiple charges. But South Africans awaits to see what the court will decide on this matter.
