Mapula Mafole is a tiny South African actress who has appeared in a number of films, notably the popular Rhythm City series. She steps into the role of Mapula.

 

 

Mafole Mapula was born on July 18, 1990. In the year 2022, she will be 32 years old. Mapula shares the same birthday as Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s former president. Mapula Mafole was born in South Africa’s North West Province.

She enjoys performing and has been in several films, including Intersections in 2012, Rhythm City in 2015, Generations: The Legacy, Soul City, and Z’ bondiwen in 2015. She holds an AFDA acting degree where she graduated in 2013.

At Rhythm City, Mapula Mafole played the character of a 17-year-old orphaned kid known as ‘Mapula,’ who had to take on the responsibility of caring for her brothers as well as herself at such a young age. She claims that her character in the film is remarkably identical to her real-life experience, which began when her parents abandoned her and moved to the United Kingdom when she was still a child, causing her to suffer from depression and seek professional care. For Rhythm City, she received a SAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Moses and Monica Mafole are Mapula’s parents. She has three siblings: an older sister and two brothers, the youngest of whom is her. Tebogo Mafole (sister) and Thabiso Mafole (brother) are her siblings (brother)and Kabelo Mafole (brother).
