Connie ferguson went on an interview on and she detailed a lot of information about the passing of her late husband. She was Interviewed by Sol Phenduka and Dineo Ranaka. She was asked how was the news broken to her that Shona had passed away. She said that she had just come back from the hospital when she received a lot of missed call from the hospital. When she called back she was told to come back as quickly as she can. She did admit that she felt uneasy that morning, and when she got to the hospital, she could tell Shona had left by looking at the faces of the nurses and doctors.

 

 

 

 

When Sol questioned her about her final conversation with Shona, she recalled that it happened in a hospital bed while he was in great pain. She told him that he was her soulmate, and he responded by pointing at her also suggesting that she was also his. Shona couldn’t speak at the time.
