Rumour mill has it that the seasoned Kaizer Chiefs star was suspended indefinitely in the backdrop of the incident. Against his rumoured suspension, he hasn’t openly shared his side of the story but has often shared messages of hope through cryptic posts.

Earlier this week, the 36-year-old reposted a message of encouragement from one of his pastors. On the other hand, his wife has been sharing motivational posts on Instagram, with the recent one being captioned: “Life during storms.”

Amid the storm, the 36-year-old set social media abuzz after sharing photo training with former Kaizer Chiefs star Lehlohonolo Majoro.The two were spotted having a sprinting routine in the now-viral photo, which was captioned Hard Work and Determination.

However, little is known about when the photo was taken. Fans were more than concerned that it was a recent photo, given the tags embedded in the post. The photo has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped on the internet.

Reports have it that he was marred in a string of controversies before his suspension. He was put on blast after he disclosed Brandon Peterson’s mental health struggles to the public. According to FarPost, Peterson’s management team complained to the club.

Rumour mill has it that Khune refused to do media interviews at Dr Motaung’s Hall of Fame induction. Khune was asked to have an interview as the club’s captain and longest-serving member of the current squad, but he seemingly refused.
