Soweto-born and Ennerdale-raise soccer star Sifiso Myeni was a marvel to watch during his heydays at Orlando Pirates and defunct football club Bidvest Wits.

The winger, who is now 35 years old, made his debut for The Clever Boys in 2008, playing close to 100 matches and scoring 14 goals.
Although a man of a few words, Myeni’s actions on and off the field earned him the captain’s armband under coach Roger de Sa.
After an impressive three seasons, the soccer star had caught the attention of the scouts at Pirates who pouched him from Wits in 2012. This is where Myeni became a household name, and finally tasted cup glory with the Nedbank Cup in 2014.
Myeni also scored one of the most memorable goals of his career, a thunderbolt strike against Free State Stars in 2012/2013 season.
His wonder goal had fans reminiscing in 2020 when former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema scored a similar one against Valencia.
