SA on Ennock’s painting of ‘Miss Albany’: Rasta must not see

South Africans were impressed with artist Ennock Mlangeni’s painting of Lungisani Mjaji’s niece aka ‘Miss Albany’s painting after Rasta The Artist reportedly ‘ruined’ her beautiful images with his painting.

The commercial photographer and Tshwane University of Technology student Lungisani Mjaji’s photos and videos of Lethukukhanya holding a loaf of Albany bread went viral on social media this week.

Mlangeni shared his artwork of three-year-old Lethukukhanya Mjaji aka ‘Miss Albany’ girl, who’s stolen South Africans hearts with her photographs captured by her uncle Lungisani Mjaji.

He captioned his images: “This has to be one of the best story to unfold of a series of pictures captured by Lungisani Mjaji. Realistic and true reflection of daily realities. The girl with a Albany loaf of bread.”

Ennock Mlangeni’s artwork was compared to popular artist Rasta, whose portraits of local legends have a way of making people laugh.

@b_lebepe: “Enock, this is amazing, this little girl has got all of us hopeful and smiling. Her gorgeous smile is everything for me.”

@shadrackmakhado: “So much respect for you Mr I love your work.”

@melusimadonsel3: “What ever you do with this picture, avoid giving it’s to Rasta for to express his artistic side no.”

@uSonwabile: “U-Rasta shouldn’t try to challenge you… uzomosha.”

@Shirlez: “Please do a trust account in her name for every sale you’ll be making on this portrait maybe 10% it’s only fair.”
