A top SABC broadcaster sadly passed away

Sad news as South Africa has lost another top talented radio star. According to the source Lesiba Marokana who was popular known as “Sticks” from the SABC station Metro FM sadly passed away.

The news of the passing of Marokana went viral on social media platforms on 2nd of May after the broadcaster shared the news on their official social media platforms. “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved music compiler, Lesiba Marokana, who passed away yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and colleagues”, the statement reads.


 

During the 9-12pm slot on the 2nd of May, the host of the show Khutso Theledi close off the show by paying tribute to Marokana. They have appreciated the time they have worked with the star and revealed that, he was a very good person to work with. Given Baloyi from the management of the station paid his respect on Khutso’s show. “As we remember our brother, Lesiba, what I’ve learnt in recent years is that when death takes someone from us, it’s a lesson to live fully. ” I say this always, life is really that short.
