State witness spills beans on who smuggled corpse into Thabo Bester’s cell before prison escape

A state witness has finally come forward and spilled the beans on who smuggled a corpse into Thabo Bester’s cell before he escaped from prison. The shocking revelation was made during a court hearing where the witness gave a detailed account of what had transpired.

Thabo Bester was a convicted murderer, rapist, and armed robber who had been sentenced to life imprisonment. He was being held at the G4S prison when he made a daring escape that left many in shock.

During the hearing, the state prosecutor asked the witness to describe who Thabo Bester was and the crimes he had committed. The witness gave a detailed account of Bester’s crimes and the fact that he was a sentenced prisoner.

The prosecutor then asked the witness about the accused and their role in Bester’s escape. The witness revealed that Matsoara was the one who smuggled in the corpse that was placed in Bester’s cell.

According to the witness, on 27 April 2022, Zolile Sekeleni, who is Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s father, hired a vehicle at OR Tambo and travelled with it to Bloemfontein. The accused then used the same vehicle on 29 April to take the corpse into the prison.

On the day the corpse was smuggled into Bester’s cell, Buti Masukela was stationed at the entrance gate of the prison. Matsoara did not have a gate pass to enter, but he had a television stand and the corpse at the back of the van.

This revelation has left many in shock as it shows how prison security can be involved in such a serious crime. It also suggests that some prisoners who have escaped from jail may have been assisted in doing so.

The accused are seeking bail, and their fate will be decided by a magistrate who will ultimately grant or deny them bail. The state prosecutor has made it clear that they will be opposing the bail applications of the accused.

Dr Nandi Magudumana, who is allegedly linked to the case, was not present in court as her lawyers had asked for the matter to be heard on the same day that Thabo Bester would also be making an appearance.

The shocking revelation has left many questioning the integrity of the prison system and the measures that need to be taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. The case is ongoing, and further developments are expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
