Longwe Twala finds himself in trouble once more

The murder of former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates captain Senzo Meyiwa in 2014 has remained a mystery, and the latest developments in the ongoing trial have once again brought the issue of intruders into the spotlight.

During a recent court hearing, state witness Mthokozisi Thwala testified that Longwe Twala, the son of music producer Chicco Twala, pushed one of the intruders who was armed with a gun before fleeing Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni. However, defence lawyer Sipho Ramosepele rejected Thwala’s evidence and insisted that there were intruders in the house.

Thwala did admit that he was surprised when Longwe Twala stood up to confront the alleged robber, and that the gunmen did not try to prevent him from fleeing the house or pursue him, as would be expected in an armed robbery situation.

This revelation has raised questions about why the intruders did not try to stop Longwe Twala. Some are now speculating that Longwe Twala may have known something about the incident.

The case has attracted significant attention and scrutiny, with many calling for justice for the former footballer. Meyiwa’s death shocked the country and highlighted the issue of crime in South Africa.

As the trial continues, the public will be watching closely to see what new evidence emerges and whether justice will be served for Senzo Meyiwa. The mystery surrounding his death has gone on for too long, and many are hoping that the truth will finally be uncovered.
