Xolani Sizok’uthola should be the commander of newly created police force

Moja LOVE’s new show, Sizok’thola, has quickly made its mark as an investigative show that exposes the dark underworld of crime happening all around us. South Africa’s crime stats show a shocking figure, and sometimes the police are overwhelmed as some crimes go unreported. With this show, viewers can brace themselves for an exciting and new show every Sunday at 21h30 and repeats on Fridays at 16h00, presented by Xolani Khumalo.

The show sees Xolani and his team crack down on crime by handing over drug dealers and gun owners to the cops. As a firm believer in reflecting what is happening in our communities, Moja LOVE’s latest offering is no different and aims to leave many viewers in awe. This is the second investigative show from the channel as there is already another show, S’khipha AmaFiles, which deals with exposing incompetent and corruption-related stories.

Sizok’thola is being well-received, with Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi endorsing it. Xolani has demonstrated competency in understanding the underworld and the crime mafia largely operating in Gauteng. He knows the streets, how these criminals operate, what the no-go areas are, and who the power brokers in those areas are.

The price of crime is unbearable for all who live in South Africa, and Moja LOVE is doing its part by exposing these crimes that happen in our communities. Deploying poorly trained crime wardens in areas where even highly trained SAPS and soldiers don’t stand a chance may be a suicide mission for many of these young officers who were unemployed youth only three months ago. This raises the question, why not give Xolani a role on the newly created Gauteng crime warden team as the commander?
