It has now emerged that Dr Nandipha Magudumana is originally from Mbizana.

She has been married before and according to media reports, she tied the knot with one Dr Mkhuseli Magudumana in 2013. It is believed they divorced in 2022.

The couple’s two children are with their father.

 

 

Bester’s fire ruse took place on May 3 2022, when the charred body was found in his cell.

But in October 2022, DNA tests showed the body was not that of Bester but of an unknown man.

Magudumana’s brother said the family was deeply concerned for her safety.

“We are worried about Nandipha but we will leave everything up to law enforcement and the courts. I have never seen Bester,” he said. “This is like a movie.”

When the media crew first visited the family home it was quiet and there was no activity, but the grass was neatly cut.

The team spent a long time knocking at the padlocked gate, and eventually left, but when the team went back, Sekeleni emerged from inside the house.

An incentive media team also visited Magudumana’s family home in Mbizana, some 60km away, but could not find anyone to comment on the matter.
