Nonku Williams Sued For R2 Million – Who Is Suing Her

According to Sunday World, Nonku Williams, a Real Housewives of Durban cast member, is involved in an R2 million legal dispute with a TV production business. The tabloid claims that Williams’ alleged failure to uphold a deal with Mmadipotwana Media led to the company filing a lawsuit against Williams for reputational harm, breach of contract, and financial loss.

According to Sunday World, Nonku Williams has been ordered to pay R2.2 million by Mmadipotwana Media, which is controlled by businesswoman Moleboheng Mali.

In February 2022, Williams allegedly signed a contract with the business. The company agreed to, among other things, manage the Real Housewives of Durban star’s image as well as arrange endorsement deals and travel sponsors.

Prior to the corporation carrying out their end of the bargain by the end of June 2022, Williams would have had to pay an acquisition price of R150 000. The cost was to be paid in 50 000 Rand installments, according to the publication. Not only that, but Williams also owes R55 000 in public relations expenses that are retroactive to May 30 and must be paid now rather than later.

Having reportedly obtained a one-year deal with Eyerus App, a safety and security software, the company claimed that it had contributed to the development of the brand powerhouse she has become. It further asserts that it coordinated events for Williams and brought her to well-known Nigerian media outlets.
