The Wife goes on a two week scheduling break. It was announced via Showmax South Africa’s Twitter page that there will be no new episodes of The Wife for two weeks. They said that this weeks episodes will be uploaded but no new episodes for the next two weeks.

 

Fans reacted to this and said that they should go on a break forever because they are unhappy with season 3. Fans said that it is episode 41 and Naledi is still not a wife while other characters have bigger roles than Naledi and Qhawe. Others felt like they needed the break and hoped the storyline would be like the book. Another user asked for a refund from showmax as there will no longer be episodes from The Wife.
