Phindile made her television debut on the SABC 2 series known as Muvhango. Five years later, in an effort to raise awareness of her brand, she made the announcement that she was retiring. She has appeared in a few movies already, but she hopes to get greater recognition for her work.

Phindile Gwala-Ngandu, now 34 years old and originally from KwaZulu-Eshowe in Natal, was born in 1986. She will be turning 35 in December, and she cannot wait for this momentous occasion. It should not come as a surprise that she is one of the wealthiest people in the profession given the fact that she is so talented and well-known.
