Anele Mdoda is still in the United States of America with her son Alakhe. Alakhe met the Italian-Australian Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo, and they had an interesting conversation. Firstly Trevor Noah, who is very close friends with Anele, introduced the mom and son to the racer. When Formula 1 saw the video, they posted it on their official Instagram page. What a highlight, what a moment!
What did Alakhe say to Ricciardo?
Alakhe spoke about a 2016 formula one race with Ricciardo. Initially, the driver was a bit confused, but then he remembered. In 2016 the race car driver would’ve won, but he had a mishap in Monaco, and he lost. Alakhe vividly remembered everything that happened, and the driver was so impressed. When the driver asked Alakhe how old he was in that year, Alakhe told him he was only a year old.
Trevor later explained the little boy is a huge sports fanatic. He also explained how he watches episodes of sporting events repeatedly. Ricciardo was chuffed and very impressed.
Alakhe gains himself some fans
On the Instagram page, his video gained over 5 million views from across the globe. Many followers of the page were impressed with his knowledge of the sport at such an age. Some people, however, claimed the child is American. Mzansi followers went to cheer on the boy and expressed their pride in him. A few people commented with links to his YouTube channel, and he might score himself a few more subscribers.
Alakhe will have incredible memories.
Some fans noted the boy would have fantastic memories. One Instagram user said the boy would look over that moment and be thankful for his mother. Anele is showing Alakhe the world and introducing him to giants. When he’s older and reflecting on his childhood, he’ll remember nothing is impossible. Concerns over Alakhe missing school
Alakhe is currently a grade 1 pupil in Mzansi, and all schools are open right now. When a few followers showed concern, some fans said he was learning online. Incredibly, the time has changed, and contact learning is not the only way of learning.
