Lunathi Mampofu is a South African actress, singer, and fashion designer. She is best known for her current role of ‘Emmarentia’ on the 1Magic’s telenovela; The River. She also starred as Benni on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, The Queen. Before she joined The Queen, she played the role of ‘Zikhona’ on the SABC 1’s 1 drama series Ingozi, which was among her first TV roles.

Lunathi was born at Cape Town on the 7th of March 1987, which makes her 35 years of age as of 2022. Lunathi’s siblings are her young twin brothers; Oros and Prince Mampofu. Oros is also within the Entertainment industry, well known for his acting role ‘Jama’ on the SABC 1’s Skeem saam. Lunathi is not only a talented actress, she is a happily married wife to Dylan Lloyd and mother to her 6 year-old daughter.

The Our Perfect Wedding is known for giving new and fresh talent an opportunity to shine and that time has come for professional chef, comedian, actress and bow present, Lebogang Tlokana. She’s finally premiered on the show after Khanyisa Titus’ exit and the reviews are already in.

Lebogang aka The Funny Chef started her descent into the entertainment industry with her impressive impersonations that garnered her many fans. Alongside being a wiz in the kitchen, she’s filled to the brim with talent elsewhere. I thought she’d be a nervous wreck tonight with this being her first show, however she proved ne wrong.

She was such a natural at her new role. She was charismatic and easy going as she spoke to the couple and it felt like she’d been at it for a long time. She definitely won’t have trouble getting used to the environment and meeting new people.

Personal Thoughts
It seems like this is a role that Lebo will fit into seamlessly when the reviews are already this positive about her. I loved her style of presenting, she is relaxed which relaxed the guests and gave us more to work with. I think she can only grow further and further in this role and I sincerely hope she will not be compared and contrasted to past presenters.

It really sad how our favorite celebrities passed on since 2021 till today, may all their soul rest in peace.

Now it seems like we loosing them too much, this year only we are still heart broken by the passing of television personality Kuli Roberts, musician Ricky Rick, veteran actor Patrick Shai and others.
