Skhanda World received the title for Best Local Brand, which is presented to the finest South African apparel brand that is only focused on hip hop.

As the band’s popularity grew this year, they aggressively and effectively promoted its merchandise.

Cassper Nyovest defeated heavy competition from the likes of K.O, AKA, and Kwesta to win Artist of the Decade. After several Tweeps questioned whether he deserved the honor, he resorted to Twitter to push his claim.”I haven’t even begun to celebrate or be my rude self, and the comments are already shaking things up. You all know I earned it. If you don’t agree, you haven’t been paying attention to South African hip hop in the last decade. The most powerful force in the last ten years. I completed my task!”

He continued, saying: “I recommend that you Mute or Block me because I’m going to celebrate for the next ten years shem!!!! I’m taking off!!!! My supporters rode for me!!!! We’re still murdering shit!!! BILLIATO will be released next week!!!! In the summer, my shoes are selling ice crystals, and I’m in a good mood!!!! LET US GO!!!”
