SABC1’s popular telenovela Uzalo has confirmed the departure of two prominent actors from its cast. Wiseman Mncube, known for his portrayal of Sibonelo, and Nkanyiso Mchunu, who joined the show in 2022 as Siphamandla “Wizard” Nkosi, are set to bid farewell to Uzalo, an announcement that has left fans sad.

Uzalo series producer King David Mukwevho said their departure at the end of this season marks the end of an era. He said they extend their deepest gratitude for the indelible mark they’ve left on the show.

Popular South African Afro-pop king and EFF MP, Ringo Madlingozi has decided to end his marriage to his wife Nomfundo Nyathi after a decade of struggling to reconcile their differences.

News that Madlingozi and Nyathi are heading for divorce was revealed by the former love-birds’ associates who had hoped the couple would find a way to resolve their issues and grow old together. Madlingozi’s lawyers recently informed Nyathi of his intention to file for divorce, marking the end of their union just a year before Madlingozi’s retirement age and five years before Nyathi enters a new phase of life. At 59 years old, Madlingozi is reaching the end of his career, while Nyathi is 55.
