JOHANNESBURG – Mourners gathered at the Bryanston Methodist Church on Friday, to bid their final farewell to renowned author and activist Zoleka Mandela.
Family, friends, and politicians were among those who came to pay their last respects at the private funeral service.

ZOLEKA MANDELA: LIST EMERGES AFTER HER DEATH
In the recently unearthed letter – dated 7 April 2023 – Zoleka Mandela reveals her last wishes.
“I do not want the following people at my funeral nor near my dead body,” she adamantly wrote.
She continued to list over a dozen people, including her aunt Zenani Mandela and ex Thierry Bashala, who both attended the funeral.However, the list also revealed the names of people who allegedly abused her, including cousin Mandla Mandela and two other male relatives.

Incarcerated Doctor, Nandipha Magudumana is currently still behind bars at Bizzah Makhate Correctional Centre in Kroonstad – this of course follows her arrest in Tanzania in April this year with her boyfriend, rapist and murder, Thabo Bester, and it appears she has missed yet another family occasion.Earlier this month, Dr Nandipha did not satisfy the court enough for her to be released on bail. In the ruling, Magistrate Estelle de Lange said she was “a definite flight risk.” Magudumana faces several serious criminal charges including fraud, corruption, violating a corpse, defeating the ends of justice, aiding and abetting an inmate to escape from lawful custody, concealing an escaped offender, and arson.
