Amogelang Zoe Chidi, popularly known as Amo is a South African Actress, Singer and Dancer. She is best known for playing the role of Reneilwe on etv soapie Rhythm City.

She began her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 10, when she made it as a top 10 finalist on SABC2’s singing competition Light House. She also had her own television show, called Design and Auto on Dstv Channel 115 Africa Magic+.

The beauty joined the etv soapie Rhythm City, in 2012 to play the role of Reneilwe. Amo played the role of Reneilwe for about 8 years and left the soapie in 2020.

In 2020 Amo announced on social media that she was engaged, She is also a mother to her beautiful baby girl, Keitumetsi.

At first Amo did not share pictures of her partner on social media, she would tease the public with pictures that only showed his side or him not facing the camera.

She got married on 27 November 2021 in a beautiful traditional wedding, wearing white and cream.

South African Telenovela Durban Gen that plays on etv is produced by a production company called Stained Glass the same company that produces shows such as Lingashoni and Uzalo.The Telenovela is hospital based and focuses mostly on the struggles that are faced by Doctors and Nurses in hospitals on a daily. The show begun its first season on the 5th of October 2020 with the cast members such as Mike Ndlangamandla, Nelisiwe Sibiya, Meshack Mavuso, Zulu Boy and Sthandwa Nzuza among many others.The telenovela jingles its storyline around new doctors who recently qualified and are now exposed to the hospital life. During the second season of the show new interns in the hospital were introduced.

Doctor Zulu is known to be a man that was inlove with Mbali an intern who was married to Sbusiso Dlamini. Since the first season and unfortunately the character died during the peak of season 2 and Mbali together with Doctor Zulu and had to break due to the fact that Mbali was still in mourning and not been cleansed. She quickly got cleansed up and was forced to marry her husband’s brother, Thabos Dlamini.
