Maponga Joshua Believes that South Africa could be a better country. But only if this can happen.

Maponga Joshua is a Zimbabwean born author, philosopher, public speaker, social entrepreneur and musician. He moved to South Africa and Swaziland, and then flew into the United Kingdom at the end of 1998, before returning to South Africa to focus on his career.

Maponga made headlines some couple of days ago when he was reportedly to be deported after he was found with a fake ID. But it appears that the the news were fake as he shared a video of himself explaining why he decided to relocate to his home country. According to Maponga he left Mzansi because he was being verbally attacked by South Africans telling him to go back to his home country.

Some couple of days back Maponga tried to make sense out of the xenophobic attacks Mzansi has been making to Zimbabwea and tried to show them that if they keep on hating their country will be empty. He also outlined that Mzansi would be a great country only if they do better and accept other Africans as if they are from South Africa.

My 2 cents worth, all Tswanas must go jack (From Rustenburg to Botswana), All swatis must go back (From Mpumalanga to Eswatini), all basuthus must go back (From Free State to Lesotho, all Shangani must go back (from Giyani to Gazankulu or Mozambique), all venda’s must return to Zimbabwe. You think this will make South Africa better?,” he asks.

“This xenophobic ethical political circus must stop!, we are here in Africa. We are going nowhere! Many 9f those who display xenophobic utterances toward a child of migrant Labour from the surrounding counties, poor regional policies and political instabilities caused by interferences have left south africa as a job Harbour to for the saddc region and Africa in general,” he wrote.

He also said that an injury to one country is an injury to the whole continent and he also advised South Africans not to be fooled by the Colonial boundaries which were made up by white people. Mapongo believes that Africa can be a great nation only if South Africans can change their mind set and stop abiding by the laws of segregation.

However it appears that none of the South Africans appears to agree with him. See how people reacted to this post:
