A-Reece is a relatively unknown rapper online. His admirers may not be as up to speed on his life as they’d like because he departed for a period of time. Unexpected storyline twist: He is apparently married.

 

 

 

Mrs Reece was just posted to one of the rapper’s many Instagram fan sites. So it was quickly re-posted on Twitter by admirers. Shock at the news generated a stir on the platform.

Onlookers continued asking the person who uploaded it to define “wife” for them. So many queries. A-Reece weds? When did this occur? We had no idea she existed. What about this “wife”?

Strangest of all, a photo of the putative Mrs Reece has appeared before. In one of the photos, she is wearing what seems to be a wedding band.

So, what’s the issue here? Do his admirers just not care? Since her photos have been on his Instagram for at least a few months, it feels like we should have known.

But there was more to the image. Many of his admirers were taken aback by the “wife’s” race They thought he should have married a black African woman and were divided on his bride being white.

The drama seems to find A-Reece despite his modest profile. People on social media were ecstatic when he recently launched his new album. Up until recently, when A-Reece said MashBeatz had created nothing but rubbish for two years. What a way to lose respect for someone you loved!

But it isn’t all awful. This week, the rapper was praised for a song starring media figure Bonang Matheba That a model’s interview was sampled and turned into a rap song is brilliant.

We are delighted to follow A-career. Reece’s But she did it again, this time catching us unaware. Wow, A-Reece, you sure keep it quiet!

Faith Nketsi is a well known South African influencer, model, rapper and an entrepreneur. Minority of people still prefer to call her ‘Queen Twerk’ but her real name is Faith Nkesti. She is famously known for being a former member of a now discarded group that used to be called by “Pro-Twerkers”. After she left the group her lifestyle just took off and she became a model and social media personality. Faith Nketsi is also rumoured to have dated Davido who’s a famous Nigerian known across the globe.

 

 

 
Faith’s debut EP as a rapper, which was endorsed by the well acclaimed DJ/Producer Maphorisa receieved plenty of criticism from netizems and song enthusiasts. But despite the hate, that never slowed Faith down. She is still one of the most beautiful social media personalities to top your lists and she quite evidently enjoys travelling the world and takes great pictures as she travels across the salty seas.

Makgotso has been trending for all the right reasons lately, namely for clinching a role in the highly anticipated film, A Woman King alongside her friend Thuso Mbedu. But now she’s also acquired a role in “The Royal Surprise”, a film set to release later in the year.
She will be starring alongside Thapelo Mokoena and Jennifer Freeman.

Makgotso was relentlessly trending on Twitter two weeks ago despite that she doesnt frequently use the app. The reason? People had made assumptions that Thuso was lowering ladders for her. She didn’t have to worry however because Thuso set the record straight where that was concerned and this news is sending that over the top.

The Royal Surprise is a romcom set in Johannesburg, South Africa with Jennifer Freeman playing the lead role. You’ll know her from the show, “My Wife and Kids” if you grew up in South Africa. As for Thapelo, his discography is extensive but you might recognize him from Generations, Mthunzini dot com or Kota Life Crisis.

About the movie itself which is being directed by Beautie Masvaure Alt seems like it wi be right up my street as a romantic film lover. The description reads as follows:

“Riley Stevenson accepts an invitation to visit Mandla, her boyfriend’s, family in South Africa. When she arrives, she is shocked to learn that Mandla is not only extremely wealthy, but also the prince of Chacula, a village near Johannesburg! The news puts Riley’s trust in Mandla in jeopardy, and now is up to him to win her love back. Riley must decide if she will give Mandla a second chance while also winning the approval of his royal family.”

Personal Thoughts
I think that the film industry is starting to open up altogether and South Africans are featuring more prominently in them. I remember growing up that our people were usually the background or supporting characters but that it rapidly changing and I can’t help but feel a sense of pride at that. I also hope on a local level we don’t underestimate out actors because they are gold.

Makgotso is making waves and I’m very proud of her how far she’s come, good for her!
