DJ Asiye Wabantu will be seen making a name for himself on the TV show

Dumisane Buthelezi, better known as DJ Asiye Wabantu (34), has found a rare opportunity in the entertainment industry.

DJ Asiye Wabantu from Mphondi, Nquthu, will present a traditional music program on television on Channel 135 Open View.

 

 

He said the program, called Ezakwantu, would start on March 5. “It will be played on Saturdays from 9am to 12 noon.”

DJ Asiye Wabantu is not a novice in the industry, he is also presenting a candid music program. He is a broadcaster for Cosmo FM, a community radio station in the north of Johannesburg.

The presenter said they had already started recording episodes of the show.
