Springboks captain Siya Kolisi taught his daughter, Keziah how to sing in Xhosa in a video shared on Instagram on Monday 27 May.
SIYA KOLISI TEACHES DAUGHTER TO SING IN XHOSA
Springboks captain Siya Kolisi shared an album post of four slides via Instagram on Monday 27 May, as he returned to “regular programming.” In the first slide, Siya is seen teaching his daughter, Keziah to sing in Xhosa. Siya and his wife, Rachel Kolisi have two children together – Nicholas (9) and Keziah (6).
Siya hails from the township of Zwide, in the Eastern Cape. The language of Xhosa is predominately spoken in the Eastern Cape, according to South Africa Gateway. So, fans in the comments section praised the rugby star for teaching his daughter Xhosa.
In the next slide, Siya appeared to be helping his son, Nicholas with homework. The slide to follow saw Siya seemingly return to the field. The Springboks captain and his family moved to Paris, France in 2023 as he joined Paris-based rugby team Racing92. Rachel and the kids moved to France in August 2023. Siya then moved in October 2023, after he led the South African national rugby team, the Springboks to become double World Cup champions.
