Marise Pollard, the wife of Springboks flyhalf Handre Pollard, revealed that they have returned to South Africa via an Instagram post on Wednesday 29 May.

“Woke up in South African,” she wrote. In the next slide she she revealed that she and Handre were happiest there.

In another Instagram Story, Marise also revealed that their family met Hunter for the first time, and he was surrounded by love. The Pollards currently live in the UK. According to MailOnline, Handre and Marise call the town of Market Harborough, a town in England home. The pair moved to the UK in 2022, when Handre signed a R14 million a year contract with Leicester Tigers.
FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT BABY HUNTER
Marie announced her pregnancy shortly after the Springboks defeated the All Blacks in October 2023 to become double World Cup champions.
Earlier this year, Marise revealed that they were expecting a baby boy.
Handre and Marise their son, welcomed Hunter Andre Pollard to the world on 25 April.
This is the pair’s first child together.
Hunter was born at 3.6kg and 52cm.
Hunter is the third Springboks baby born in 2024. Eben and Anlia Etzebeth welcomed their first child, a baby girl to the world in January. Faf and Mine de Klerk then welcomed their first child, also a baby girl in February. Now, there’s one more on the way… Stacy Mbonambi, the wife of Springboks hooker Bongi Mbonambi, announced her pregnancy on Mother’s Day, 12 May.
