Skomota made headlines after his videos on a flight to the United Kingdom flooded the internet. He was all smiles. A few months ago, Limpopo Boy made it known that he was tagging Skomota along to one of his gigs in Birmingham.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter news blog MDN News posted, “Skomota flying to England, UK private. He will be performing at a Family Show in Birmingham with Limpopo boy-bujwa. The event is on the 26 May 2024, and Skhothane sa Pitori did not make it to the trip as they left him behind.”

Against the post, Mzansi quickly flooded the comments section with congratulatory comments. Fans wished the viral sensation well. Reports have it that he will be part of a star-studded lineup set to perform at a family show in Birmingham.

No doubt, this is Skomota’s first international gig after his thrust into the limelight. Skomota made headlines when he reportedly won R3 million from betting.

Against his newfound fame he furnished his craze for dancing and his signature dance moves have taken him places. No doubt he has since become a darling and that star we all love to see.

He has rubbed shoulders with several A-listers, including Makhadzi and DJ Tira. Surprisingly, he has performed and starred in some of Makhadzi’s projects.

Makhadzi once hogged headlines when she performed with Skomota at the South Africa Music Awards. The viral sensation was a surprise act, and he wowed many with his signature dance moves.

RUMOURED EXPLOITATION
However, Skomat has often hogged headlines with his booking fees. Last year, the rumour mill said Skomota makes a whopping R545 000 monthly. A leaked WhatsApp chat earlier this year revealed that Skomota costs R90 000 to book.

Earlier this year, he had a nasty fallout with his manager after he openly accused him of defrauding his money. Skomota dropped the daring allegations in one of his podcast interviews. His close friend and road manager, Skhothane sa Pitori, also took a swipe at his manager for taking advantage of the muso.
