200 Bars” sounds like it could be an exciting release from Big Zulu! Dropping a track with that title suggests he’s bringing some serious lyrical firepower. It’s always interesting to see artists take on longer-form tracks like this, where they can really showcase their skills and creativity.
Fans of Big Zulu’s work will likely be eagerly anticipating the release, ready to hear what he has to say over those 200 bars. Big Zulu, real name Siyabonga Nene is cooking another beef this year.
Big Zulu dropped 100 Bars two years ago, and it shook the game as people like Emtee took it personally till date, some snubbed, while others replied with a diss track. The musician spoke about the advantage of diss songs, especially for the hip hop genre.
“Soon I’ll be dropping a 200 bars single and we do need beef, it’s just that some artists take things very personal when they’re in a beef.”
“Two years back I started a beef, [in] which I never used vulgar words on my song, but in retaliation, some artists decided to insult me and my mother and when we meet they expect me to understand or be cool with the situation. You insult my mother it’s no longer a beef,” he said.
He also said that if diss turns to violence, then it could claim lives. They take [it] personal and next thing the art of hip hop turns into violence, some lose their lives in that process.
