DJ Tira recently wowed fans with his performance at an IFP star rally in Umlazi. The celebrated DJ was part of the lineup that entertained thousands of supporters who had gathered for one of the party’s rallies ahead of the elections scheduled for the end of the month.
DJ Tira’s performance has undoubtedly garnered thousands of comments and reactions since it was posted on X, formerly Twitter.
DJ TIRA’S RECENT PERFORMANCE WOWS MZANSI
Fans quickly praised his performance and business conduct. DJ Tira has headlined several political rallies, including for the Democratic Alliance. X users were more than convinced that he would also headline ANC and EFF’s rallies.
Another user jokingly accused DJ Tira of having a permanent tender for all KwaZulu-Natal gigs. With an illustrious career spanning years, DJ Tira has fast become one of the most sought-after entertainers in South Africa. His huge following has always seen him attract huge crowds.
However, his performance comes barely a few weeks after he was accused of sexual abuse by Luke Ntombela. The Durban-based singer has it that she was allegedly sexually abused by the muso.
ABUSE ALLEGATIONS
Speaking to the media, she claims that she woke up half-naked in DJ Tira’s bed. Against the damming allegations, she says she wants the DJ to give her answers about what happened.
Against the damning allegations, Luke Ntombela even shared some of her alleged chats with the muso. Luke Ntombela also had an interview with Durban-based SABC radio station Ukhozi FM. She opened up about the incident and said she only wanted answers from DJ Tira.
However, DJ Tira has since unleashed his legal team and the fast-rising singer. Last week, DJ Tira’s legal team shared a cease-and-desist letter instructing Ntombela to stop talking about the award-winning DJ.
UNCONDITIONAL APOLOGY
DJ Tira’s legal team also warned that she should retract her statements; if she did not, she would face legal action.
Part of the legal statement reads, “We demand a retraction of such malicious and defamatory statements against our clients through the same social media you used to publish them. You must further conduct a radio interview through the same radio station, retract the interview you conducted, and offer an unconditional apology.”
The lawyers added, “Failure of which will leave our clients without an option but to seek legal redress against your unlawful conduct to protect our client’s brand.”
