Although there have been rumours of Boity and Maps Maponyane being an item, there is still no concrete evidence, and so the online sleuths have moved on to their next “suspect”.
And that new candidate is none other than Legacy actor Anton Jeftha.
WHY ANTON JEFTHA?
The speculation began when Boity posted a picture of herself holding about a dozen red roses in front of a helicopter on 15 February.
The post was captioned:
“What a stunning day! Happiness looks good on me. ???????????????????????? #SelfLove #OwnYourThrone????.”
Five days later, Anton Jeftha posted a similar picture in the exact same setting as Boity’s.
This may be a mere coincidence, but the social media sleuths seem to think there was more to it. Here are some of the comments that were posted under the post:
“Boity’s new man,” wrote @rei.tum.etse.
“boity’s new bf,” wrote @dininie_.
Twitter caught wind of the two similar pictures and soon fans there also thought it could be more than coincidence.
BOITY AND ANTON SPOTTED TOGETHER
According to IOL, a direct message posted to popular Instagram page The Popcorn Room SA by a fan read:
“Last night I was out and saw Boity together with that sexy actor hunk Anton aka SJ on The Legacy.”
“I took a few pics with him only to realise later how they looked hella cosy and even left together. I then went on both their pages and guess what… Valentine’s weekend they spent it together.”
Boity and Anton follow each other on Instagram, and often mention each other in their Instagram stories.

Anton Jeftha is known for playing the role of Sebastian Price Junior on M-Net telenovela Legacy. He was born in Cape Town and attended the University of the Western Cape.
The actor also featured in various television shows such as Thing of Dreams, Saints and Strangers, Dominion, Bagels & Bubbles and Homeland.
He loves the gym just like Boity does. He often posts pictures and videos of himself working out, and so does Boity.
The actor also has a modelling career going for him and was one of the top 14 finalists in Cosmo’s Sexist Man.
As yet, neither Boity nor Anton has confirmed or denied they are in a relationship.
