In a bid to honor her memory and preserve a significant piece of her history, Zahara’s sisters, Bandezwa Mkutukana-Febana and Lumka Mkutukana, have embarked on a mission to organize a music concert aimed at raising funds for the conservation of her former residence in Little Falls Roodepoort, which was reportedly slated for auction last year.A Noble Cause: The concert, scheduled to take place at the prestigious Orient Theatre in East London later this month, is not merely a musical extravaganza but a heartfelt endeavor to rally support and financial aid to save Zahara’s cherished home from the brink of demolition. Bandezwa Mkutukana-Febana emphasized the family’s financial constraints, stating their inability to compensate performers with their usual fees.
