Award-winning singer and producer DJ Maphorisa has downplayed rumours that he had a fallout with Kabza De Small.
No doubt this is the first time DJ Maphorisa has openly rubbished rumours about Scorpion Kings’ fallout.
MAKING HEADLINES
Earlier this year, it was reported that the amapiano duo of Maphorisa and Kabza De Small had a fallout. Against the news, the two seemingly deleted their pictures together on their social media timelines.
The two also changed their booking details to their record labels, leaving many convinced they might have gone separate ways. Against the trends, Kabza De Small made it known that there was no ‘beef’ between the two as peddled by social media.
Last week, the Amapiano King even took to social media to announce their new project on the cards. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Kabza De Small posted, “Scorpion Kings album dropping soon.”
However, little is known about when their album will be released. Kabza’s post undoubtedly convinced many that their rumoured fallout might be a marketing strategy for their new project.
DJ MAPHORISA ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM
However, DJ Maphorisa also confirmed Scorpion Kings’ new album. He also took a swipe at popular X user ChrisExel for peddling lies. DJ Maphorisa posted, “Areng Chris Excel Papta? Does he know the deals we are cooking? Big Bosses are waiting for our Signatures. Scorpion Kings Dropping Soon THE PYRAMIDS
Against his post, one user said the two might have had a fallout, but they have kissed and made up. The X user posted, “Only Chris Excel can give celebrities sleepless nights. He can make you make up.” DJ Maphorisa was quick to reply the user. The muso posted, “Broke nikka? U joking.”
RUMOURED FALLOUT
Rumour mill has it that their two had a fallout in 2023. However, earlier this year, ZiMoja reported that their fallout came against the backdrop of DJ Maphorisa’s Instagram Live sessions.
The muso seemingly claimed to have thrust Kabza De Small into the limelight. Against these bragging rights, the two reportedly went separate. Since the news of their rumoured fallout, the two have never headlined a gig together.
DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small have been performing separately. However, Kabza De Small performed with DJ Black Coffee at Konka last week.
