Didintle Khunou has reportedly joined ‘Generations: The Legacy’

Isono actress Didintle Khunou has reportedly scored a role in SABC1’s long-running soapie Generations: The Legacy.

Zimoja reports that The Throne star Didintle Khunou has landed a role in Generations: The Legacy.

An insider from the soapie tells the publication that she was approached by producers and was given an offer she couldn’t resist


 

A source close to Khunou tells the publication that she’s only shared the good news with her family and close friends.

“Things were conducted hush hush, even their meeting was conducted in the private room. They were finalising small details of her contract, even her soon to be bosses are eagerly waiting to see her on the soapie,” adds the source.

The publication adds that the show has invested in a team of exciting and young creatives to revive the soapie. Khunou is reportedly one of the new faces to join the show.

TVSA reports that the 31-year-old star has also appeared in Isono, Mamello, Soon Comes Night, A Soweto Love Story and many more.

ACTORS WHO EXITED ‘GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY’
The talented actress Didintle Khunou is the latest star to join Generations: The Legacy after Kope Makgae’s exit.

Makgae, who portrayed the role of Mrekza for several years has joined e.tv’s Isiphetho: Destiny as Mosa.

The SABC confirmed in 2023 that actors Buntu Petse, Karabo Maseko, Rebaone Kgosimore and Zizipho Buti will be leaving the show.

“The characters of Nontle, Luyolo, Tracy and Paul can still be seen on our screen until the end of November/early December when a dramatic story-arc reaches a mind-blowing conclusion”.

IOL confirmed in late 2023 that the actors who played Nontle, Luyolo, Tracy and Paul will not be part of season 10.

The soapie welcomed actors Aubrey Poo who plays Khumo Moroka and Kgomotso Christopher who plays his twin sister.
