Popular reality TV star Makhekhe, who almost got disqualified on Big Brother Mzansi discusses his “possible” relationship with Yolanda

MAKHEKHE GETS A STRIKE
Tshepo Tau, who is famously known as Makhekhe, almost got disqualified with Bravo B in the first week of Big Brother Mzansi.

Tau tells Sunday World that the incident was a wakeup call and didn’t necessarily change his game plan.

“Growing up in the township as guys, we have a certain way in which we label women when we speak amongst ourselves, which is not right.

“The incident taught me that it is important to have respect for women and ask for consent too.”

Makhekhe also admits that he felt out of place in the house and was not okay after Bravo B’s disqualification.

Big Brother Mzansi‘s Makhekhe is the runner-up after McJunior, who was announced as the winner on Sunday, 31 March.

HIS ROMANCE WITH ‘BIG BROTHER MZANSI’ STAR: YOLANDA
The former Big Brother Mzansi housemate, Makhekhe also tells the publication open to pursuing a relationship with Yolanda.

“I feel like me and her are trying, and being inside the house and outside is different. We know each other; we are taking it one step at a time to see where it goes, and she’s a very lovely girl.”

MultiChoice eliminated Yolanda from the show on Friday, 15 March, while Bravo B left in the show’s opening week.

The Limpopo-born model, Yolanda Mukondeleli Monyai was disqualified following her remarks about molesting a fellow housemate.

The channel revealed in a statement that they don’t condone any acts that threaten the safety of the contestants on the show.

“MultiChoice has investigated the matter regarding remarks made by a housemate on Big Brother Mzansi which is currently airing on DStv channel 198.”

“We do not condone any acts that threaten the safety of the housemates on the show, and we take Gender Based Violence seriously.”

“Therefore, the housemate who made the threatening remarks (Yolanda) has been disqualified from the game,” concludes the statement.

Monyai’s exit comes after disgraced contestant Lindokuhle Nsele aka Bravo B’s elimination in the show’s opening week.

Nsele recently revealed to Sowetan that he regrets the inappropriate comments he made on the reality TV show.
