Like father, like son: Siya Kolisi’s boy Nic makes Racing 92 debut

South African rugby star Siya Kolisi had a proud dad moment this week after his son Nicholas ‘Nic’ Kolisi played his first match for Racing 92’s junior division. Taking to his Instagram, the Springbok captain shared a video of the nine-year-old in action.


 

In the clip, the young Kolisi can be seen doing his best on the field while wearing a white tape on his wrist — something his father is famous for.

Many Kolisi fans loved watching the clip and shared hearty comments with the father and son in the comment section.

SIYA KOLISI’S SON MAKES DEBUT FOR RACING 92
South African Springbok captain Siya Kolisi is undoubtedly one of the most loved sports personalities in the country right now.

The seasoned rugby player managed to successfully lead his team to victory during last year’s Rugby World Cup and secured himself a spot inside millions of South African hearts.

It looks like his boy Nic is following in his footsteps and Mzansi absolutely loves it.

On Tuesday this week, Nic made his debut on the Racing 92 junior squad and made his father who was watching from the stands super proud.

Taking to Instagram, Siya shared a video of Nic scoring a try for his team. He also highlighted the fact that his son was wearing white tape on his wrist — the same way he always does when he plays big matches.

“So proud of this one! Played his first game for Racing92. The tape on the wrist,” Siya captioned the video.

Needless to say, fans of the famous sports family couldn’t wait to take to the comment section to share their thoughts.

Dozens praised Siya for being there with his son and nurturing his talent.
