Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) viewers have more questions than answers after new addition Angel Ndlela visited her gynaecologist with regard to her alleged fertility issues.
ANGEL OPENS UP ABOUT HER ALLEGED FERTILITY ISSUES ON ‘RHOD’
Since the beginning of season four of the Showmax Original reality series, the singer and businesswoman has been sharing her health journey.
In the second episode, Angel revealed that she discovered lumps in her breast in 2018 and was diagnosed with fibroproliferative breast disease.
“So I got onto a contraceptive, and everybody knows (inevetibly) a contraceptive will affect your fertility. From that I got blood clots, I would get my period for months on end,” she explained in the show.
In addition, she briefly spoke about her alleged infertility with the rest of the cast members during Zama Ngcobo’s 40th birthday party.
Angel, who is in the construction industry, further took viewers deeper into her journey when she visited a gynaecologist in episode six. Following her appointment, the Instagram influencer was relieved to know that everything was normal and she had higher chances (than she had anticipated) of conceiving.
VIEWERS WEIGH IN
However, with that scene also came confusion for RHOD viewers who were under the impression that Angel’s fertility issue was diagnosed by her doctor. After her doctor’s appointment, it became clear that she had not been diagnosed with fertility issues as previously understood.
“Guys what is the gist with Angels story and fertility? I believe for one to know they have fertility issues they must have been trying for a baby at some point or have been diagnosed with something like endo but the Dr uthi ubabes is good in her oven [sic].”
“Angel, *bombastic side eye* 👀Her story keeps changing!! Didn’t we have a whole crying session bcoz she said she was facing infertility🤔🤔 not the Doc confirming there is nothing wrong [sic].”
“So Angel woke up one day and told herself she has fertility issues and decided to run with it… yhoooo hayi ke she fits more and more into the Pathological liar MO [modus operandi].”
“Also who told Angel she was infertile? Did she just think that nje or?”
“Angel’s been sooo emotional about her fertility kanti uright? Who’d told her she’s infertile in the first place? I’m confused.”
