Livid Thabo Bester fights for right to wear designer clothes

Thabo Bester has kicked up a fuss in court after he claims he was denied his right to wear his own clothes, no doubt designer labels.

The flashy criminal – who has previously donned Burberry and Louis Vuitton in court – made his grievances known through his legal representation.

Thabo, his co-accused Nandipha Magudumana, and seven others will return to court on 5 June 2024 for a pre-trial conference.

THABO BESTER APPEARS ANGRY AFTER BEING ‘DENIED’ OWN CLOTHES
On Wednesday, 21 February, Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester made their first court appearance in 2024 at the Free State High Court.

However, Bester, who is known for his luxury lifestyle – stunned court spectators when he appeared in regular clothing.

According to his legal representative, Mohamed Seedat, Bester was “denied” the right to choose his own clothes ahead of his appearance.

Seedat told the court: “My client has been denied access to his own clothing, even for purposes of coming to this court.

“My client is being directed where he is told to only wear what the prison officials tell him to.”
