Sportscaster Robert Marawa took to his social media on Tuesday, 20 February morning to share former Moroka Swallows coach, Steve Kompela’s farewell speech.
STEVE KOMPELA BIDS FAREWELL
Supersport reported on Monday, 19 February that Moroka Swallows have confirmed they have parted ways with coach Steve Kompela.
The club revealed in a statement Moroka Swallows FC and Coach Steve have agreed to a mutual separation.
“This comes after several discussions between both parties, where it was ultimately agreed that it would be in the best interest of both the Club and Coach Steve to (go our) separate at this stage.”
The coach bid farewell to Moroka Swallows FC and thanked the club for the opportunity. Kompela also requested fans to give the same support to coaches Musa Nyatama and Ditheko Mototo.
However, his farewell left fans puzzled as he concluded: “It is illegal to enter an exit.”
@shallaz8: “Coach means that they must try by all means not to fall into relegation.”
@nicksta_napo: “Is he saying that FC is exiting to the 2nd division?”
@BeardedPriest1: “Manage your steps even when you are headed towards the right direction… I hope you understand.”
@Viwe_Pobana: “it is disgusting how @Moroka_Swallows and their chairman handled this matter. The arrogance and the unprofessionalism is mind blowing. You don’t pay players, your coach is sidelined, and you have trainings without communicating to your coach. Utter disrespect towards Steve Kompela.”
@Kideo_Mah: “One gets a sense of that Steve would have loved to continue. Farewell, hoping to see him soon, Golden Arrows is struggling- he can go there and stabilize them.”
