South African musician and businessman Sbusiso “DJ Sbu” Leope says he owes the South African Revenue Service (SARS) millions.
DJ Sbu remains one of the most successful artists in the country, and he is vocal about his businesses. His MoFaya energy drink remains one of the ventures he has been pushing so much recently.
His social presence has convinced some fans that he is financially sound and does not have debts. Surprisingly, the musician had a lot of debt that most fans could not believe.
Speaking on his YouTube handle, DJ Sbu explained how Covid-19 affected him financially.
Speaking to his fans, the talented star encouraged them to keep up and move on from what Covid-19 caused. He also said of his online radio failing because of Covid-19 but believed it was a moment to reflect.
He said the Covid-19 restrictions left him in debt as people had invested in his ideas. The talented musician said things were hard but that he is starting to earn money from some of his ventures.
After DJ Sbu said that he owed millions of SARS, fans were surprised by what he said.
