On Monday this week, Natasha Thahane and Thembinkosi Lorch shocked South Africa after announcing their “amicable” split. While the pair never made things publicly official, they left hints about their romance in numerous posts over the last couple of years. In 2022, the pair welcomed a baby boy into the world whose face they have yet to reveal.

In the meantime, their breakup has caused quite a kerfuffle on social media — especially after Natasha reacted to a message from a fan asking if abuse was the cause.

 

And now an X user has also dug up an old post made by Thahane about toxic partners.

NATASHA THAHANE’S BREAKUP FROM LORCH SPARKS CONCERNS
Blood and Water actress and Mamelodi Sundowns football star Thembinkosi Lorch have headed for “splitsville”.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, 19 February, Thahane announced the news while adding that they will continue to remain friends and co-parents.

The news left social media users quite intrigued – especially since the pair had never really made their relationship public.

In 2022, Lorch had been found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Fundiswa Nokuphiwa Mathithibala.

This has left many wondering whether or not there had also been abuse in his relationship with Thahane.

Especially after Thahane shared a snippet of US singer Rihanna’s interview during which she discussed Chris Brown’s abuse on her Instagram page.

An X user also dug up an old post of Natasha seemingly venting about her relationship.

“If all your exes complain about you & they all complain about the same thing. YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. Stop victimising yourselves and take accountabilty. DO BETTER,” reads part of the post.
