American media personality Nick Cannon is opening up about being a father of 12 children, and what it means to embrace fatherhood.
NICK CANNON EMBRACES LIFES CHALLENGES
In an interview with People magazine Nick Cannon talks about the challenges that come with raising 12 children with various women.
The TV show host proceeds to note that while may be challenging, he has learnt to embrace his life and the challenges that come with it.
“My entire life is challenging. I don’t live a normal existence, but I embrace it. I love challenges”, Nick shared.
He continued: “I wouldn’t say there was one specific thing that stands out more than another,” he adds. “Every day, there’s a new challenge, and I accept it”.
Nick has 12 children. The media personality shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah Cannon and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell. He also shares twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
He also has two children with Alyssa Scott, a son Zen, who died of brain cancer at five months old in December 2021 and daughter Halo Marie Cannon, who was born in December 2022.
THE JOYS OF FATHERHOOD
In addition to that Nick also opened up about the most rewarding part of being a father to 12 children. He elaborates by sharing how hearing his children say “I love you, daddy”, makes his heart beam with pride.
“Just hearing your kids say, ‘I love you, Daddy.’ You know what I mean?”, he shared.
Nick Cannon continues: “The first time they say it, whether they’re one year old or 18 months, to hearing it from your kids that are on the brink of being teenagers, there’s nothing better than that”.
He also shared how the “big hugs” and “picking them up from school” are some of the other “best” moments he enjoys about being a father.
