Springboks captain Siya Kolisi took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday post to his wife, Rachel Kolisi on her 34th birthday on Sunday 21 January.

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi dedicated a short and sweet birthday post to his wife, Rachel Kolisi on her 34th birthday. The pair have been married for seven years and have two kids together – Nicholas (9) and Keziah (6).

“Happy 24th birth my love ❤️ thank you for all you are and all you do for us,” he wrote.

The mom of two also took to Instagram to reflect on her life on her 34th birthday. Rachel expressed that she saw her follower count drop on Instagram and wondered if she was posting too much or too little. She went on to say that her authenticity is most important to her. Take a look…

“The first and most important rule I always had for myself was to share who I am. Not to try be, or look like anyone else. And to not fear being vulnerable. I would rather have people relate to me, than wish to be me. This reflection brought a lot of clarity and peace. I’ve never cared how many followers I have, or who follows me (until that crazy moment) but, what I do on these platforms is true to me,” she wrote.

“This is really just a reminder for me, but also thank you to so many of you who have been so kind, helpful and gentle in a year that has been completely life changing and challenging,” she continued.
