Former Kaizer Chiefs player Valery Nahayo has apologised for a “joke” mocking Itumeleng Khune’s suspension from the club for allegedly being intoxicated during training.
Over the weekend, the Burundian-born player left several shady comments under the goalkeeper’s Instagram post.
Last week, Amakhosi announced that Itu had been suspended and stripped of his captaincy after allegedly reporting to training while under the influence of alcohol. He has been advised to seek professional help.
