‘IT WAS DESPERATELY SAD’
Kayti Edwards reportedly dated Matthew Perry in 2006. She met the former actor while at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting but remained friendly with him and even worked as his assistant in 2011.

During an interview with The UK Sun Kati recalls visiting Matthew at the height of his battle with drug addiction.

“I was at Matthew’s place in the Hollywood Hills. He was in a bad way”, Kati Edwards remembered.

She continued: “He had been getting high all night on a plethora of drugs, most likely crack cocaine and other substances”.

She further notes that when she found Perry high, he was allegedly on the couch with his hands superglued to his legs. Kati further shares how she removed the superglue with nail polish remover an olive oil.

“I found Matthew on the couch with his hands superglued to his legs, it was desperately sad. I had to use nail polish remover and olive oil to free him”, Kayti Edwards told the UK based media outlet.

KAYTI SPEAKS OUT ABOUT MATTHEW PERRY’S ADDICTION WOES
In the Interview Kayti Edwards also shares how terrible the aftermath was

“We were literally ripping the hair from his legs and he had red, raw patches left behind, it was pretty horrific”, she remembered.

This isn’t the first time Matthew’s ex has spoken out about his addiction woes. As reported by Page Six, in a 2020 interview, Kayti alleged that Perry used her to pick up “cocaine, heroin, and crack” for him while she was pregnant.

“I was like five months pregnant going down and getting stuff for him. He [would say], ‘No one’s going to pull over a pregnant girl. Don’t worry’”, she noted.

After news of Matthew Perry’s death broke, Kayti questioned whether or not Matthew Perry died from accidental drowning after his body was discovered in his jacuzzi on the 28 October.

“I know Matthew and I know that he wouldn’t have just drowned. I think he might have taken pills in the week leading up to this”, she said.
