Lynn Forbes and Kairo marked first Christmas since AKA’s death

Lynn Forbes and Kiaro, the mother and daughter of the late South African rapper AKA – real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, rushed to their popular social media platforms and wished everyone a “blessed Christmas” as seen on their posts shared on Monday, 25 December.


 

 

 

 

 

AKA’s mother and daughter celebrated their first Christmas since the beloved rapper passed away. The slain rapper who is best known for hit songs such as Sim Dope, The World Is Yours, Don’t Forget To Pray, and more died on 10 February on Florida Road in Durban. He was gunned down outside Wish restaurant alongside his long-term friend, celebrity chef, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.

Taking to her feed, Kairo posted a photo with her mother DJ Zinhle Jiyane, half-sister Asante, and stepfather Murdah Bongz – real name Bongani Mohosana dressed to the nines. “Wishing you all a blessed Christmas,” she captioned. Lynn also marked this year’s Christmas by taking to her feed with an adorable famiy photo. She posted a photo of herself with her late son’s only child (Kairo). The duo were seen posing alongside DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongz’s daughter, Asante. “Joy to the world and a blessed Christmas to you, yours, and the Megacy,” Lynn penned.

Previously, Police Minister Bheki Cele revealed that the gun and getaway vehicles used in the plot to kill the rapper were found. He said he was close to “cracking the case”. He has since recently done a radio interview where he revealed the latest update regarding AKA’s murder investigation.
