Oprah Winfrey’s surprising snub leaves ‘The View’ fuming

In a shocking turn of events, Oprah Winfrey, the queen of all media, seems to have ruffled some feathers by skipping a crucial promotional stop on her latest project, the adaptation of Alice Walker’s “The Color Purple.”

OPRAH AND THE VIEW
The No. 1 daytime show, ‘The View,’ reportedly expected a reunion between Winfrey and its star, Whoopi Goldberg, who both graced the screen in the acclaimed 1985 version of the film. However, it turned out to be a missed opportunity, leaving “The View” crew less than pleased as reported by PageSix.

Sources revealed to Page Six that the panel show is “pissed” about Oprah’s absence, emphasizing the anticipation for a special moment between Goldberg and Winfrey.

Despite other cast members and the director, Blitz Bazawule, making an appearance on the Dec. 13 episode, Oprah was notably missing.

While “The View” usually airs live, insiders shared that the particular episode was taped on Nov. 27, a day when Oprah was unavailable.
