‘It has reached the point of disrespect’ – Fans on Zahara’s portrait by Rasta

Late multi-award-winning singer Zahara is topping the backdrop of her funeral service from family drama to Rasta’s butchered portrait.

Zahara died at a private Johannesburg hospital. However, confirmed reports have it that two contradicting autopsy reports were recently issued.


 

 

 

 

Against the reports, rumour mill has it that the family has since turned to the police for help. Reports have it that the family has since opened a case with police citing foul in the backdrop of the star’s death.

Family members, friends and fellow artists attended Zahara’s memorial service as they paid their last respects to the star. Among the guests was Rasta, who often hogs headlines with his portraits.

No doubt he is topping trends after Zahara’s portraits went viral. The photos of the portrait have gained thousands of comments and reactions since they dropped on the internet.

His artwork did not convince fans, and many took a swipe at him for butchering Zahara’s portrait. He failed to nail some of her key features, ruining everything. For the wrong reasons, the viral portraits have since thrust Rasta into the top trends on X, formerly Twitter.
